Community Service Pt.1

The eleventh graders of my school had to serve minimum of 3 days to the community, it says that we have to 'give back'. Well... so my 7 friends and I applied to the nearest hospital, just to, you know, help around. Or was it... looking around?
I've seen people doing community service before from school, but usually it was more coordinated. My school didn't do anything about it. They just told us that we HAVE to do it, but only make letter for us. Do you know how HARD it is for us to get into the facility alone just based on a letter?? We were being toss around from one section to another. We skipped one day just because the letter needs to be processed. I do hope that the school is going to give more help next year.
But it's not that I dislike doing community service. I like it. We were, finally, after 1 day and 2 hours waste, pointed to a specific section of the hospital, it was... a child care, I think that's what they called it, for children who has special needs or need special care. And we helped... talking to the mothers, or playing with the children, or helping the nurse to get the kids to stay 'put'. Sometimes even just talking helped.
Only one day I've spent there, yet it had me. I should be more thankful that I was born this way instead of just complaining. I should just embrace the fact that 155cm tall, because there are some people who can't even grow at all. I should embrace my turnip legs, because some doesn't have any. I should embrace everything more. Because there a lot that doesn't have anything...
