So it got me thinking.
Would my wedding be this good?
See, from all of the wedding that I've been to was always the same, in a huge ballroom or hall, with a stage in the center where the bride and groom would stand with their parents. And the stage would be filled with lots of flower arrangements and traditional thingy. And there were always a lame 'keroncong' band asking a family member to sing an old song or dangdut song, they kinda ruined the moment. So it's always kinda lame and boring.
But last night the view WAS AMAZING. I'm not exaggerating here. It is beautiful. It's an old house and it has very huge backyard with pool. And my cousin was a model so... naturally there were a few other super models there and designers, and actors-actresses. There were far a lot, I was so starstruck. But anyway. There was something that screams beautiful about the wedding.
The mix of traditional and modern wedding. They took all the good things in each side, mixed it all together. So the ceremony it self was done in a traditional way, of course. They wore Padang clothes which was good. The clothes weren't that traditional. It's very modern. And the reception was in modern ways. It was cool!
Anyway MY own wedding...
why does it matter? Supposedly when you love the man you're with, that's enough. NO. Not for us girls. We dream to have the most beautiful wedding ever. You've watched the Brides War. You know how bad it gets. Some of us had been dreaming since she became the little flower girl. I just thought of it last night. It was dreamy. My cousin looked so pretty. And I wanna be just like her in a wedding gown.
And there should be a few bridesmaid, and groomsmen, and flower girls. Everyone should dress up nicely at the reception but traditionally at the ceremony. As of today, I definitely can't wait to get married, but hey, I'm still 16 and have a lot going on for me...
SPEAKING OF GROOMSMEN
I did the most embarrassing thing ever in my whole life! See, all the cousins were bored. All we had to do was like stand on the entrance and that's it. For two goddamn hours. And then... There's this cute boy who also happened to be groomsmen and now he was standing near the entrance also. I've been watching him since he looked like this actor whom I like. And then my stupid cousins suddenly wanted to play 'dare or dare' to entertain themselves and they saw me looking at the guy so I was dragged into it! and they dared me to ask the guy's number. I was never one to turned down a dare, but it was embarrassing . So... I asked him. He was with his cousins, I WOULDN'T ask him there, so... he went to play with his niece outside near the pool. I was just happened to be there, taking some drinks with my cousins (Suka, Vanka, you guys are dead...) and those two pushed me into him! So I had NO choise...
Keisha: eh, permisi bentar..
The guy: ??
Keisha: Okay, so I had this silly dare game, and I was dared to ask your phone number. jadi.. boleh ga?
The guy: (silence) (dumbfounded) Uhm... *chuckles* coba aja nih, tanya sama keponakan gw, tau gaa?
* we played with the niece briefly*
The guy: Yaudah, lo sdaranya kak kasih kan?
Keisha: iya.
The guy: *number*
Keisha: Tx yaa, aduh sori bgt jadi ganggu, maaf yaa!
The guy: Iya gpp, eh iya, nama gw arman.
Keisha: Oh iya, maaf yaa ganggu, makasih
Arman: Sip
Trust me.. it's more embarrassing in real life. Cause after that we still have to stand on the entrance together and I cannot face him since he told his family about it and they ocassionally chuckles when they saw me again. But hey, he's a cutie and I got his number! (arman makasih yaa mau disusahin :D)
Anyways, the wedding was cool, I got to meet my cousins and such we had a lotta fun! :DD
