BWAHAHAHA I'm BACK!
damn how I miss being home! After 4 days stranded in a village called jayamukti located in Tasikmalaya, I am finally back in Jakarta. How I miss it so... Never thought I would miss the view of the front of my school (which is this ugly institute with very bad building and a market) and a view of a paddy rice field is very interesting at first, but after four straight days, it gets really boring. haha
My team of four and I settled in this house belonged to Bu Oneng. She a REALLY nice lady I'll tell you. She's a small lady with four kids, she has this small drink stand right on her patio and a strawberry field on her backyard. She has two house! for some reason, I just don't know. We stayed at the house on the backyard.
I consider myself lucky, the other groups had to sleep in the living room; on the floor with sleeping bags (mine wasnt even used), and they only eat small amount of food. Whereas my group, well you can say we eat like queens. We have many leftovers every meal that we have to call in the boys from the other group.
The journey was mostly spent by foot. We walk around by foot. It was something that I'd never thought I could do. I was never a fan of walking around. But those four days? I wasn't even close to tired, walking from here and there. And I was interracting with people there, I was never good at that too. I played with the kids there, they were mighty cute.
Writing this entry, if I would write the whole detail, will make it very very very very very very very very loooong. There was so much to write. The new friends I've made. The new lessons I've learned. The things I've bought; with very cheap price; the view (okay, the view was very boring for me). But it was all a new experience for me. And it was fun. Really fun. Jayamukti was definitely the best place among the three provided, it was also the most civilized one. Never gonna forget that place. I might even consider of going back on holidaay haha.
Well... CIAO
